Right at the beginning of this year we became a two-Tamsin family, as Charlie, me and copywriter Tamsin Mac were joined by Tamsin H, our new content strategist.
Since then, things have evolved much faster and better, and in more ways than we’d have managed on our own. We’ve even hired two new journalists, which is pretty cool.
There’s still work to be done though. Now I’ve come to relax about what we do, I’m concentrating on how we can improve it, and how we can better explain it to the rest of the company.
Attention is also shifting to our content management system which, frankly, could be improved. If content is – as these search engine optimisation people seem to agree – King, we need a CMS that acts like a royal diary secretary: running around in the background, making sure that everything is in the right places at the right time, and avoiding the equivalent of having to talk to Mohamed Al Fayed.
