Technically speaking

I’ve come to a mini-realisation. There is no getting away from IT.
Let me fill you in - I used to work in tech support, which was OK, but there’s only so many progress meters a man can take. If you laid mine end to end they’d probably reach Belgium.
My plan was to begin my career in journalism by writing about IT, which I knew something about, and then move on later. It’s worked pretty well - I write about a much broader range of things at iCrossing.
I’ve come to realise, though, that I’ll never fully leave technology behind. Because it’s bloody everywhere, and because I can’t help but have an opinion about it.
Anyway, the upshot of this is that I’m no longer going to resist the temptation to talk about technology on Hackbash. I think it’s fundamental to where we’re going, and where we’re going wrong.
My concern, though, is that it might bore some of you at the back. If it does, please let me know, and I’ll maybe put it on another tab or something. Hell, maybe I’ll just include more pictures.

*Starts “one of us, one of us” chant, then runs off giggling*
Also, more Tintin pics please.
