Ok, I’d like to tell you about my dream.
Last night, I dreamt that I was in a small three-storey terraced house with some serious left-wing armed revolutionary types. They were going to usher in a new world order, and to prove it one person was carrying around six nuclear warheads in her rucksack (they were small warheads).
There was a lot of running about in the house. I was the only journalist allowed to be there and I was putting down some handwritten notes, in preparation for a feature I’d be writing about the experience later. I was pleased about the scoop I had, and pretty relaxed, even though there were anti-terrorist police and all sorts of military people shouting through megaphones from outside.
Suddenly Antony M (sorry Antony) burst in and starting shouting “why the f*** aren’t you live-blogging this?”. Jeff Jarvis may have been behind him in the doorway.
I was at an utter loss to explain why not, and started mumbling about plans I had for the feature. But I was ashamed. Why, indeed, wasn’t I live-blogging it?
I woke up at that point, with my cheeks still burning.
I think this dream may have something to do with my new phone, which I haven’t figured out how to work yet.
But once I do, I’m going to learn how to live-blog with it. Just in case.

Dude, you’re fucked up.
Hi Charlie
What a top dream.
Tom
I’m not sure what is more concerning the actual dream, or the fact that your dream included Antony!
Actually, I was serious. I’ll let you off the live-blogging thing, seeing as (a) we’ve yet to overcome the technical hurdle of getting RSS feeds from dreams to the physical world (Scott’s working on it) and (b) that you’ve seen fit to write it up in full subsequently.
This weekend I dreamed that Stephen Fry took me on a tour of the British Library and then got really angry with me when I discovered a book in my bag that I’d forgotten to return to my university library some 15 years ago. It was awful. He wasn’t my friend any more.
@handolio – have I revealed too much?
@Tom – just want you to know, I dream about you too, but it’s not suitable for publication.
@Nick ditto above, but worse.
@Antony – thank you, I should get my first decent night’s sleep in about two weeks now. and if anything interesting happens, at the very least I’ll twitter it (140 characters max shouldn’t trouble the dream-reality axis)
@Tamsin – you can alway check Twitter to see if Stephen Fry is still your friend. In fact, I’ve checked for you. It’s fine.
