It was the BBC what won it

There were many factors involved in the epic Wimbledon final last weekend, but I hadn’t counted on the influence of the schedulers at the BBC.

Many scheduled programmes, including the news, were shifted to BBC Two as the sporting drama unfolded, eventually resulting in Nadal’s win at 2130 BST.
