Job title: Journalist

Full details: Do you love innovative digital marketing environments? Would you like to help some of the world’s biggest companies bring their brands to life in search and social media spaces including Google, Yahoo! MySpace and del.icio.us, in a fast-paced, award-winning
agency?

The internet is changing the way we communicate. Companies are realising that the old marketing models do not work anymore and that marketing needs to be done for people, not at people.

Spannerworks is pioneering new ways for companies to be useful to their customers. Our rapidly expanding content and media division is looking for ambitious, forward thinking journalists to join the team.

The journalist will be instrumental in researching web culture and trends as well as ideas for news and features. You will write copy for PR; case studies; articles; content pages and product descriptions.

Working in a creative partnership with the natural search; account management and content and media teams you will discuss Spannerworks client requirements and generate workable concepts to fulfill those requirements.

We are looking for candidates with online experience; an interest in social media and blogs. You will have the ability to think quickly and outside the traditional models and approaches and have a desire to do work that is truly remarkable and inspiring.

You will be joining an innovative and pioneering team that is creating new approaches to some major business challenges.

You will have strong journalistic skills and the ability to create accurate; objective and high quality content to tight deadlines. You will have a familiarity of web media and technology plus have knowledge of and participate in social media (blogs; wiki’s communities)

Spannerworks is a search-led digital marketing agency, specialising in natural search optimisation, paid search and social media. The company was founded in the UK in 1997 and acquired by US digital marketing agency iCrossing in February 2007.
